Begin in the heart of Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park at the legendary Tena Tena Camp. Nestled under a grove of ancient mahogany trees on a bend of the Luangwa River, this intimate tented camp offers an authentic bush experience. Known as the "Valley of the Leopard," this region is world-renowned for its high predator density; you’ll track big cats on expert-led walking safaris and night drives before retreating to your luxury tent to watch hippos wallow in the river below.
Next, find your sanctuary at Insika Lodge in Zimbabwe, a boutique retreat just minutes from the thundering Victoria Falls. After marveling at the "Smoke That Thunders," take the ultimate plunge into Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool perched precariously on the edge of the 108-meter drop. As the adrenaline fades, trade the roar of the falls for the rhythm of the river on a Zambezi sunset cruise, sipping cocktails while elephants and crocodiles line the banks in the golden light.
The journey concludes on the turquoise shores of Tofo, Mozambique, where the savannah is replaced by the "Manta Coast." Here, you’ll trade your khaki for a wetsuit on an ocean safari to swim alongside the titans of the Indian Ocean.
